The first Demo Day of the TUM Venture Labs took place in October. 21 startups from the fields of food, agriculture and biotechnology presented themselves to a wide audience.

A clear trend emerged amongst the up-to-date topics: Many companies are focusing on the areas of alternative protein sources, plant-based meat substitutes, robotics and carbon farming. The incubator based near Munich specialises in, amongst other things, education, team matching and various ways of supporting startup ideas in the life sciences sector.
