This year, our innovation managers Peter and Fabian are participating in the Innovation Master Class of WeXelarate, a practice-oriented co-creation programme for innovation managers. This exciting training programme consists of a total of six modules and lasts about a year.

It started back in March with the topic “Innovation Strategy and Innovation Process”, followed by the modules on “Innovation Formats” and “Measurability of Innovations”. After a short summer break, the programme continues in September with the final three units on the topics: “Employee Engagement”, “Corporate Startup Collaborations & Investment” and “Stakeholder Management & Ecosystem Orchestration”. In an environment of mutual trust, valuable knowledge for successful innovation management is acquired through co-creation methodologies and essential skills are reinforced. In addition to this, our participants are benefitting from a cross-sectoral exchange with other innovation managers that is enabling them to learn new perspectives and best practices.

External expert input is an integral part of the programme. Module-specific, selected experts from the international innovation ecosystem contribute specific knowledge and give participants an extra knowledge-based advantage.

By participating in the Innovation Master Class, Peter and Fabian are not only receiving key training for their work in the Agro Innovation Lab, but are also representing the AIL and RWA in the cross-sector network of innovation promoters and, thus, strengthening our innovative power through their contacts with a wide range of companies.
